Synth artist Sapien wanted to release his debut album, HELLO MANKIND, online. The album’s theme is about a space-faring humanoid that has a gripe with humans. The brief was to create a memorable journey that would allow visitors to understand the meaning behind each track.
Retro-themed gifs take the visitor through a 7-part storyline of the concept album. CAPTCHA has traditionally been used to test if the user is human, but in this case, we used it to display each song’s name typographically as well. The verification process also complements the album’s name: HELLO MANKIND. Agency: Kinetic
